Nugget

Nugget is a 16 year old Tennessee Walker.  She was running free in Tennessee and was rounded up with other horses.  Friends of ours brought back a group of horses, including Nugget, and we were asked if we would be interested in taking her.

She is very leery of people, even though she loves to be brushed.  It is difficult to walk up to her when she is in the pasture.  She is blind in one eye so we need to be careful to always approach her on her left side.  She has mellowed out in the time she has been here, but doesn't prefer the company of people.
